We are assisting a leader in secondary power distribution solutions with over 100 years’ industry experience. Specialising in high-performance medium voltage switchgear for utility, industrial and commercial applications, they enable the safe and reliable distribution of energy to homes and businesses worldwide.
Based in Thame, this role reports in to the Business Systems Program Manager and provides 3rd level support to this companies Global Helpdesk, where issues arise from Microsoft Dynamics. You will ensure the system meets the service levels required by the business and continue to develop business processes through implementing new or enhanced features.
You will analyse business requirements across the company and recommend appropriate solutions and work within project teams to implement approved processes, procedures and software. You will also be a member of the project team implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 across the business in all locations.
Your Key Accountabilities:
Provide 3rd Tier support to all Dynamics ERP customers (dealing with Incidents/requests and other queries raised via our Global Helpdesk), and liaise with colleagues and partners to resolve complex issues.
Work with staff in all locations to enhance business processes, data flows and management information.
Analyze business needs, identify solutions, prepare realistic plans, work with consultancies to develop solutions, test, implement, document and provide support in all locations.
Work closely with all departments to integrate solutions and build interfaces to optimize data flows.
Provide guidance and mentoring to fellow team members
Train end users in the correct business process and appropriate use of AX 2012 and Dynamics 365
Typically work on several tasks at the same time including conceptual thinking, planning, organizing internal and external staff, leading meetings, documenting requirements. Demonstrate ability to link information from different parts of the system thus ensure implications of any change are well understood.
Provide new or enhanced reports to support management as appropriate. Participate in the development of the business through your systems and process expertise.

Communicate regularly with colleagues and keep all parties informed on the status of key issues
Maintain an up to date knowledge of ERP systems and identify where new features could provide additional benefits for the business.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Preferably Degree Educated,
AX/D365 Certified in an appropriate discipline
5 years Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365, including delivery of training.
Trade & Logistics Certified
Good listener, Quick to adopt new concepts, Thorough and detailed, Confident, Persuasive.
