They have many new opportunities for experienced M&E Commissioning and Installation Engineers with previous experience in MEICA projects, to work across our framework with Yorkshire Water.

You will be working on various projects including Water & Waste Water Treatment plant and New Construction.

Duties include:

Working on waste water projects incorporating new build and refurbishment on apparatus such as; inlet works, course screens with screening handling units, grit separation and classifiers, fine screens and screening handling units, Primary, Tertiary, Chemical Dosing, De-Watering and Secondary treatment plant etc.


Clean water projects will include Impounding and Service Reservoirs, Screens, Pumping Stations, Clarifiers, Filters, Chemical Dosing etc.Refurbishment and installation of new MCC’s, System Integration, Instrumentation, Control equipment, High Voltage switchgear & starters on site.Full commissioning services including full documentation.


Carrying out commissioning activities and manage supplier / contractor commissioning.

Be involved in assisting designers develop new and existing refurbishment works.


Involvement in the installation and commissioning of projects from design to conception and interfacing with clients.


Work within the team of MEP engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money.


You will have:

A proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

Experience of installation & commissioning both electrical and mechanical assets.

Experience of working to electrical procedures, including providing Electrical Permit to Works.

Experience of MEP commissioning within the Water Utility sector.

A proven record with planning the commissioning process.

Working to safe systems of work including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.

Able to work well both within a team & independently.

Excellent communication skills.

Full UK driving licence

You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven ability to manage and deliver the commercial performance of the projects. You shall possess excellent negotiating, communication and supervisory skills and the ability to direct commercial activities within the business environment. You will be responsible for supporting the management in the commercial processes, ensuring that business objectives are met whilst at the same time respecting all statutory and commercial requirements. Your Key Responsibilities Ensure cost control is maintained on a project basis throughout all functions (procurement, delivery, design etc.) Provide contractual advice to project and operational personnel. Inform the appropriate management of project contractual issues and points of dispute and resolution. Ensure project personnel understand the application issues of the contractual conditions.
