Due to an increase in work load on their Welsh Water framework, they are looking to expand their team in Newport, South Wales, and are in need of a Programme Planner.
The role would suit a well organised individual with an understanding of the end to end process involved from tender design to construction.
You will have previous construction planning experience within the water or civils industries, experience, however this is not essential. The candidate must however have an understanding of general resources including materials, plant and labour.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and as you will play a critical role in communicating technical issues to both site and office-based employees. Whilst you will need to be self-motivated with the ability to work off your own initiative, we are particularly looking for someone with the teamwork skills that are essential to this role.
If you are proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and other Office packages and have extensive experience and knowledge of using Primavera PE3 v.6 this could be the role for you.
