Our Client is a one-stop provider of cleanroom and laboratory facilities. Their team have successfully provided a complete turnkey service to many blue-chip cleanroom clients in their respective science and technology sectors. They offer design, build, project manage and refurbish of Clean Rooms as well as commissioning, maintenance and validation packages.
You will effectively manage your time and skills to meet the full requirements of the site. This is to ensure production demands are achieved with minimal plant downtime at least cost and continuing improvements are seen.
The role requires working from 8 until 4 Monday through to Friday with the call out rota one week in 3, overtime is available.
You will be able to maintain and carry out improvements to the equipment within the facility.
A key objective within this role is to keep downtime to a minimum whilst working to maintain quality, hygiene and health and safety standards.
Another key objective of this role will be to ensure legal compliance at all times so experience with legislative restrictions would be advantageous.
To ensure the maintenance PPM system is adhered to in such a way that production downtime is reduced to an absolute minimum at all times.
Provide out of hours cover support in conjunction with the other team members
To manage all site systems mechanical and electrical ,ensuring they remain fully within the high specifications required.
To maintain and abide by the company permit to work system and all other H&S site requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a time-served electrical engineer with full qualifications and a proven track record within an electrical maintenance role with good working mechanical knowledge.
Experience in a FMCG or Pharma/Clean room business
17th or 18th edition qualified
You will have been involved in PPM and project work ideally within a hygiene critical manufacturing facility.
Good interpersonal skills.
