Our client looking for a Software Engineer to join its Image Analysis team and help deliver product-ready software for intelligent analysis of medical scanner images.
You will be working within a talented cross-functional team focused on applying mathematical algorithms, deep learning techniques and data driven computational methods to real clinical problems. Computational efficiency and sophisticated automated testing are necessary to deliver such technology, so excellence in software engineering is essential.
In this role you will:
Develop product-ready software components with attention to code quality and good software design
Develop and maintain internal tools for managing and processing medical images
Maintain an efficient build and test infrastructure
Collaborate with domain experts to understand the clinical and technical needs
Contribute to system architecture design
Collaborate with colleagues across Canon Medical to deliver successful products
What we are looking for:
Coding skills in C++ and Python or similar languages (e.g. C#, Java, Go, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.)
Knowledge of continuous integration tools and techniques
Willingness to learn new tools and techniques as needed
An interest in solving problems for clinical users and improving healthcare
Experience developing user interfaces and data management systems
Knowledge or experience in medical image analysis, machine learning or statistical data science would be beneficial, but not essential, for this role.
