Due to continued growth generated by successful delivery, there is an opportunity for a Water Utilities Network Engineer to be based in the South West of England (Bristol), working with a truly global, FTSE250 company who are at the forefront of Water Utilities and helping some of the water industries most nationally recognisable brands.
There is a competitive salary package available for the right candidate, including a company car or car allowance, company share incentive plan and pension scheme with 24 days annual leave.
You will be working on the client’s Water Distribution and Network Optimisation projects, helping successfully deliver regulatory performance requirements in areas such as leakage, levels of service and quality.
You will be required to travel hence a full driving licence is essential.
Your responsibilities will include;
Supervision and effective management of a small, focused team of field engineers
Small project and programme delivery including:
Distribution Network Asset investigations
Supporting clients in exceeding their performance commitments
Maintenance of high standards of customer service and care
Collaboration with other colleagues to develop new ideas and opportunities
You will need to have:
• Strong Health and Safety awareness
• HNC in Engineering or equivalent
• Water Industry experience
• An understanding of the design and operation principles of potable water distribution networks
• Strong numerical skills
• Good data analysis, interpretation and manipulation skills
• Good report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
While not essential, it would also be beneficial if you had Experience of regulatory corporate reporting systems eg WaternetTM, Netbase.
Experience of client interfacing and liaison with operational or asset staff
Knowledge of water companies Serviceability Measures and Performance Commitments
Though there is a strong preference for this position to be a permanent role, there may be also be contract opportunities available.
